1-2-1 COACHING

1-2-1 football coaching is a great program for players of all abilities and we customise the sessions based on the players age, and playing position. Training is conducted by our team our Premier League and Championship coaches and scouts.

Sessions include:

  • Technical sessions (looking at making players far more comfortable on the ball)
  • Defending (looking at body shape, timing of tackles, spatial awareness, positioning, heading)
  • Attacking (positional awareness, forward runs, short and long passing styles, shooting/crossing techniques, link play)
  • Tactical Sessions
  • Advise on fitness and nutrition
  • Analysis on running style
  • Video Analysis of sessions
  • Excellent preparation for players wanting to go on Professional Trials
  • Athletic development
  • Agility, balance and coordination training
  • Strength and conditioning

SMALL GROUP COACHING

The SMG sessions incorporate all of the 1-2-1 sessions, but are delivered in groups of 2 – 6 players. Players are based into groups based on age, ability and specific needs. The sessions allow for more tactical work due to the group size and also more 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 practices.

SPEED AND SPEED ENDURANCE TRAINING

The training focuses on football related sprint practices or on the players speed endurance/fitness. Unfortunately most people are not training correctly for the sport they play and this helps to readdress that problem. The program can be used as a team session, 1-2-1 or small group session, and is delivered by our Technical Director who is a fully qualified UKAA Sprints and Athletics coach.

The sessions are excellent for injury prevention too and can be used for pre season fitness training.

  • Bio Mechanics
  • Analysis of running style and correction
  • Fitness testing
  • Speed endurance training
  • Activities are mainly with the ball and football related
  • 1-2-1 and Small Group sessions

SCOUTING AND FULL PLAYER ASSESSMENT

These sessions include all of the above but we also come and watch the player in a game and write a complete professional scouting report on the player and conduct 1-2-1 sessions based on match day observations

  • Includes watching the player in a match
  • Full scouting report of the game
  • Full written report of all sessions, including the players progress in training and action plan
  • Advice on where we think the players best position is on the pitch
  • Full diet and nutrition plan, as given out by Premier League and Championship clubs
